  1. Graduate students(Master / PhD) positions
    We have openings for two graduate student positions to join our group. For interest or to discuss potential thesis topics please contact Prof. Carsten Rott.

  2. Undergraduate students as research assistants
    Conduct research on the IceCube Neutrino Observatory project. The specific research tasks are related to a novel camera-based calibration system that was developed by our group and that will be installed at the IceCube detector in 2022. The work involves testing of camera systems and performing image analysis to verify camera system performance at extreme environments as expected at the IceCube experimental site in Antarctica. Measurements to be conducted by the undergraduate researcher include sensitivity, alignment, linearity, dark noise, low-temperature performance, power consumption, and a series of other tests.
